Water in fuel

Do you have a scanner or cts2. That may be able to clear the code. If not the sensor is probably not working right. Did you actually have water in the fuel?

If no water was found in the fuel. Replace sensor.

Shouldn't have to reset it.

Are you sure there wasn't more water in tank that is now in new filter?

Diesel supplement has some troubleshooting info.

You can check it by taking sensor off running float up and down and checking water in fuel light, just make sure lift pump is disabled if you have one. Just closes or opens loop and sends signal to dash.
