Matt, read through your whole thread. Great info! I have 3 customers that have L5P's two '17s and a '19. I keep them serviced and maintained. Really like the fuel filter setup compared to all the other generations. Also the air filter is easier to service vs the LML. I took a bit of training on the L5P in March and if I remember correctly the reason the glow plugs are packaged the way they are is because they are ceramic and if dropped they are toast. Keep us updated!

Definitely so much easier changing fuel filter on the L5P, I just close my eyes when I think about trying to change one on a previous earlier model Duramax LOL.

First l5p Iv seen crack a piston. Ppei tuned of course....
Camper hauler running 60hp tow tune. Tuned since 150k popped at 175k.

Whoa...I think there's a guy on here who said he always tows with his l5p on a +200 tune. What is it about ppei...?

Yeah, that come across my IG feed. Found it interesting it was deleted for so short a time before it blew. Do you know how much weight the truck usually pulled? Iím sure with people beating on deleted trucks itís bound to happen sooner or later.

Camper hauler so compared to us the truck isnít being worked all that hard. But a 60hp tune is probably pushing it for the tiny stock turbo.
