So I am looking at doing this to my 18 I see Wehrli has two intake horns and wasn't sure on which option to go for. This is my first diesel and first delete job when the time comes to let it rip. You did the PCV reroute which was the one with the tube sticking out of the main intake horn, right?

I went with the PCV reroute which mean it does NOT have the tube on it. The OEM horn has a tube for the crank hose to attach to, the WC horn I got does not have the tube. This means the crank vent get rerouted to atmosphere by the frame.

Any tuning need to be done or is that something that can be done as a bolt on and don't worry about it. I've been reading up on anything tuning related for the L5P and its a bit out of reach yet. My plan is to be able to start doing whatever I can then down the road be able to finish it off right.

Did you notice any difference with the new horn? Better response? Anything?

I don't think I noticed anything drastic by driving it. I am planning to delete and tune down the road and that is where it makes a significant difference in power.
