Just Ordered the 2020 3500 DRW Denali Dmax.

Dealer hit the send button and GM accepted the order so it's open for ordering. 4X4 Denali 3500 DRW Crew.
15% off MSRP + our next born child.

Things that caught our attention or are different from our 2015:

220/115 we assume are the amps of the alternator option.
Dealer was dizzy on that.
220 standard with the Denali.

Something from GM that the 115 is not available yet if you're considering that.

Dual batteries avail without having to order dual alternators.
The steps on the new style tailgate are a no cost option.

Full floor coverings available.
All terrain tires a $140 option before discount.
Rear/front diff screws are now 3.43 we're told and told that's different than our 2015. Damfino.

High idle switch.

We ordered it with everything except the snowplow, moon roof and rear seat video system.
Quicksilver to match our Toyhauler.

2020 alternators (and rpo codes), from order guide:

KW7 Alternator, 170 amps
1 - Requires (L8T) 6.6L V8 gas engine.

KW5 Alternator, 220 amps
1 - Included with (L5P) Duramax 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8 engine or (VYU) Snow Plow Prep Package. Free flow on (L8T) 6.6L V8 gas engine.

KHF Alternators, dual, 220-amps primary, 170-amps auxiliary
1 - With (L8T) 6.6L V8 gas engine, (K4B) 730 cold-cranking amps/70 Amp-hr auxiliary battery is required.

Any chance the 'unavailable' 115 item refers to the block heater (rpo K05) ?

What dealer did you get 15% off MSRP? Right now, Dennis Dillon is like 18% off the 19s. I would love 15% off the 2020. I was expecting less than 10% off even at the big discount dealers.

Iíd love to know this as well. Dennis Dillon quoted me 12% off MSRP on an AT4 before any factory rebates or incentives. A guy can hope but Iím sure it will be awhile before any rebates or incentives are offered.

Right now 15% off plus a few others discounts for various reasons like 911 responder in the family.
Our 2015 3500 DRW has been amazing for the past 50K miles, has fabulous resale value. The features on the new 3500, well, time to trade up.

Dual batteries are standard we're told with the single 220 Alternator. Hope that's true.

We always buy the first run of a new GMC model and have been happy.
Kept one of them and is flirting with 200K miles. Still has murderous power. Only mulligan was aftermarket radiators with the 8.1. My advice is get the GM radiator. Far superior than anything out there and well worth the extra cost.

Love the F450 but saw the mulligans with the 6.0 Powerjoke and how brutal Ford treated owners so I couldn't pull the trigger on one. Boy do our friends have stories, I'll spare you all.

Of the few times their would be a potential issue with our 2015 GMC we got notified by GM beforehand, told the symptoms and how to deal with it and come in beforehand for a free fix if possible.
That, to me is customer service. It doesn't get better.

Ok could you provide the dealers name, state and town. I am also interested in making a order. Did they give you a approx price out the door? Did you also get all the cameras, the GN hitch, the spare wired cameras for your trailer? What color and interior color have you ordered.

Thanks
Chuck

This is what the specs/option on my GMC 3500 CC SRW Short Box AT4.
I can get Supplier pricing easily. I don’t think I can get GMS. Your 15% discount is below GMS (employee). I would cancel my order in a minute to save another 8-10%.
