2020-2500 vs 3500

So I’m looking to buy a new Denali duramax by the end of the year for a tax write off. I typically sell my trucks after three years and buy a new one for taxes. Anyways I typically always buy a 3500 despite rarely to never towing with it because resale is always very good. I found a new 2500 Denali exactly as I want it but I’m wondering if I should try to find a 3500 instead?
Is resale that much better with a 3500?

I don't think you'll find much difference in resale value between 3500 and 2500 for equally equipped trucks.
I am in a 3500 now for the first time, this 2020 3500 rides better than the '18 2500 I traded.
