It'd be interesting to try this stuff if it really exists, but I think I'll just stay where I'm at, living even visiting where it snows with minus temps is just not on my wish list.
Coldest temps we've had was 30 degrees, besides I can golf year round even in the winter we still have green grass.

I do use the premium blend with #1 in it in cold weather, just because it's there. At home in Illinois everything has bio in it, so I do see a slight difference in mileage with bio. I have a Southern States station locally that sells 50 cetaine. I run it exclusively. On trips where I can only find 40 cetaine I can see a noticeable reduction in both power and mileage. Around town driving I will typically run 280 miles on a tank of 50 and only 260 on a tank of 40.

Just curious, what is the price difference between the 50 and 40 where you live?

There is one station in my area near the interstate that has "Premium" Diesel. I filled up there once, but forgot what the Cetane rating was. It's 14 miles away, so not sure if worth the bother.

It sucks that diesel is such a widely used fuel but there is very little consistency across the nation the availability of grades based on cetane and or bio content.
