Cool

Finally got the hood on. Took a lot of time to adjust the fit. Glad the Pros did it and not me.

A lot of difference in driving....hard to put my finger on it. Something is noticeably quieter on the hwy. Could it be a wind flow change, lessening the cab wind noise?
A little Stealth action?

Anxious to see the water flow in the rain, could be a tell-tale on flow change.

And of course, the obligatory 20+ rwhp is evident with the seat dyno.
Perhaps the underhood flow is affecting the IAT?

Replaced the cab lights a while back with 9-SMD 3500k LEDs behind the amber lenses. Definitely made it noticeable at night.

The riser vent catches those at night now. Time will tell if it's a night driving annoyance or not.
Or just an added 'cool' factor to enjoy.

Thanks.

Unbeknownst to me, those color matched pieces on the grill wings that run between the headlights and the bumper lights, winds up being a permanent thing. In looking at the replacement piece that broke out in the hail storm, it has long tabs that you'd presume would be inserted in a slot, and then a flat metal spring clip would slide on and hold it in place.

No no no
The tabs are melted and molded back to fill up the slot hole. Once installed, it's now part of the grille. Replace it, you replace the grille.

Which meant I couldn't reuse the old pass side one on the new grille with the new driver's side replacement. So.....off to the Dealer and pay 3x the price for the other side of the set and have 'em painted.

Of course, once I got home with 'em, I noticed a blemish on one.....so back to the shop with it and I still can't get this 2yo front end repair completed....'till next week.
(insert frown here)

Don't know if that is big enough for you, but they are awesome little machines.
I want a small one. Don't need more. Easier to store and get around stuff.
