We (I) cut ours down by hand (no chainsaw). Just under 9’ tall noble for - was less than 2” from ceiling when I brought it inside. Trimmed the top so the angel would sit on it better. Got the lights on, wife and kids will decorate tomorrow I’m sure.

Goes fast guys - you guys with young ones, soak these days up, especially at the holidays. Got the outside lights up too - tree inside I got the lights on, but that's about it. Also got the new pups stocking up - we get him I think on the 20th. Half yellow lab (mother), half golden. His brother from last litter is a GREAT dog. Still discussing names, but think we're going with Woody - wife wants little fake lap dog that we'll name Buzz. Well that's the kids plan anyhow. We are all pretty excited to get him - house has had an empty feeling since we had to put my pal down in June. Snow and rain tomorrow here - good day to light a fire, watch some football, and decorate the tree.
Dave looks good man. We are foing to wait for the boys to get back from my mom's to put all the fixings on the tree
Lights, ordiments, candy canes ECT.....

Evening gents

Got ours inside after watching The Ohio State University Hans harbaugh his ass for the fifth year in a row. 8 in a row on a win streak. Got to love it.

Tree is up. Decorated and done. Wife has some small things to do around the house tomorrow and it’s finished.

Opening day of gun season is Monday for us. Going out with a bunch of buddies to drive and hunt almost 1300 acres in southern Ohio. Pretty pumped and can’t wait for it.

Rifle season is done on WT here. 4 pt. Mulies closed November 10.

Bow only WT opens tomorrow through Dec 20.
It would be nice to see a WT buck this year. They have stayed high up with no snow to push them down.

I look forward to putting up our tree in the week preceding Christmas. Way too early now.

Our gun season (no high powered) is next week. 2 days later this month and then muzzle loader in January.

Bow goes until first week of February

Dec 20th is our latest opening. Everything else is basically shut down by then.
There are a couple of Limited Entry Hunts (lottery draws) in Jan/Feb for elk.

Morning guys. A little rough last night. They made me chain my trailer but not the truck because it's 4WD. Kalifornia is a moron state. I told him the trailer has any tires. It has all terrain TAs on it. But he made me chain anyway. So I put one on. I didn't need it. But the way the morons here drive in snow is amazing. also got snow in southern OR. Stopped at the casino RV park in Corning. I wanted to get past Sacramento. so still a long way to go to Orange county. Those TAs and the Cooper ATs work great in the snow. The trailer stays straight and the brakes work good on it. I am glad I got over when I did. We got down to Shasta City and they were closing the road NB. It's still closed both ways now. Kalifornians are morons. The conditions up there would have been snow tires recommended on I90 in Washington.

Morning guys.

Pulled out the Christmas tree and set it up with a lot of the lights being out. Said to hell with at and set out to buy a new tree.

After looking at poor quality of the trees and the expensive price tags, I said screw it and fixed what I had. 3 hours later and 50 bad lights changed out, am good to go and more importantly, Mama is happy.

Hope everyone enjoys your Sunday with the family.

Washed the truck in 30° weather. Used the leaf blower as normal to get the water off. Then installed new truck cover.
Need to get some gravel down where I park it, so I dont get mud all over the tires that will get all over the first layer of the cover that sits against the paint.
