Having to unplug the aux cord to take a call is absurd, first world problems

I bumped back and forth between light and heavy tow with my truck(lmm). I actually found that while my egts would rise a little faster with the light tow tune, my overall temps would generally be lower because the truck wouldn't struggle as much on the small hills. Just something to consider.

Maybe I'll do some experimenting with it and see what works out the best. It's all hills where I live so its either exhaust brake or letting it eat lol

Makes sense, I need to check into that... I'm sure someone like you or me could keep an eye on things and make it work out good, but somebody driving a truck that's not their own, I'd be a little scared of... lol...

Any of the trucks I've used aux in cords have had that issue, I've never tried it in a newer truck with Bluetooth. Wonder if they still do it?

You guys are hitting on the few things I dislike about my 14. Also wish it had AC seats.

It is nice, keeps my back from sweating on really long drives, but the other day somebody described it as feeling kinda like having pissed in your pants!
It does kinda have a damp feeling to it when you use it, lol...

That whine you're getting -- what charger are you using - the built-in USB port in the dash, or a cheapo plug in? I bought a $10 Duracell charger and used it in a Jeep Wrangler (yuck) while on vacation to charge and play music through an aux cord and there was no whine. Same phone with a different cheapo USB charger in the Wife's Acadia and we get the whine. Not enough electrical isolation in the cheaper chargers is my guess.

Maybe run a power inverter with the 120v charger instead?

I'm trying to find it in your build thread, but am I remembering correctly you said you try to keep EGT's at or below 1250 sustained?
