Thanks, man! Iíve always love the blue, but the blue on this truck really does it for me. Funny thing, I hadnít even seen this color before I ordered it, I just went off of what it look like on the website, and it was totally different than what I expected.

Minor slab of metal removal, LOL! Iíve got some ideas that I want to throw at somebody, but I need to find a competent body shop that does custom work. I have no idea where anybody like that is, Iím going to have to start calling around. Like I said, the fenders will be getting replaced, so these are my practice fenders.

Reminds me of when I got mine on a while back.

Went to go back out of the tire shop and it wouldnít turn.

Tech asked me what I was going to do.

My response

ďGive me a cut off wheel!Ē

His look was priceless

Looks pretty fricken cool Matt! Are you planning on running like that or adding some fender flares to protect the body from road debris?

Iím definitely not gonna be towing like that, but not gonna do flares either. Just gotta be careful, and not drive stupid on gravel roads... Morris suggested I do a clear bra on the most exposed areas, which Iím considering...

I stepped in the shop this morning and blinked a few times, to make sure nothing had changed overnight! Still same, and still blown away with the way it turned out! Should look even better out in the open...

These lines are roughly where Iíll be cutting the plastics. Pretty much any plastic under the black line will be eliminated, and the metal will start angling toward the back from the black mark I made on it. Cutting away any supports behind the metal inner fender liner to allow it to go back.

Need to talk with somebody, or then experiment with plastic heating and shaping to see if I can retain more of the plastics, and just push them towards the back along with the metal.

Everything I cut and weld will get primered and painted, but it should look pretty clean once I put the fender liner back in land trim it along all the new lines...
