Normal driving, before I did gears I reset my EGT records and drove around for 3 days, hot was 1200 (climbing the hill up to my house). After gears, reset EGT records again, same style driving for 3 days, checked the EGT's, highest they got was 950! Insane how much cooler the truck is running, way more power off the line, and the tranny feels like it is way happier when shifting. As an added bonus, I picked up 1.5-2 mpg. With 35's and 4.56's I am not getting better MPG then I was when I was running just the 33.7" tire with stock 3.73's.
I'm going to be switching to 3.42 Yukon ring and pinion frint and rear and a detroit tru Trac limited slipin the rear here in the the near future jimmy

So ended up returning the Exo Grappler's. Great tires, performed absolutely amazing, felt like a mud tire in the mud instead of an AT, and rocked it in the snow and rain. Downfall was that they hold rocks, I live in the country, and have a long rocked driveway, and the rocks get between the lugs, well they dont come out on the country roads, they wait till you are on the highway doing 65+ mph, then they decide to clean out, my poor truck was taking a beating daily.

Luckily @Discount Tire has killer customer service, took the tire back without any hassle. Ended up getting a set of Goodyear Ultra Terrain's mounted up (35x12.50r17). Very quiet tire, seem to do good in the mud (not as good as the Exo, but way better than a TKO2). Supposed to have a nice little storm come in this weekend so will see how they do in the rain and snow...

Oh ya, and this happened... It was on sale, and I was sick of the stock antenna, dont judge me.

The White Whale Build Thread

Didnt wanna shell out the dough for Dynamat, so found this stuff on Amazon called Kilmat, way cheaper, easy to apply. Did the drivers side front and rear doors, gonna tackle the passenger side tomorrow. Drivers door had a rattle that was driving me nuts, window regulator was loose. Fixed that and got the Kilmat in, seems way quieter and stereo sounds good. Cant wait to do the passenger doors. Might go crazy and rip out the carpet and do the floors over the summer.

For some reason I can’t view them.

This is exactly what I want to do over the winter to mine. I want to do the doors, floor and back of the cab. And hopefully just go through and tighten everything up.

I can't see the pics either but I'm glad its working out for you. Plus a chance to tighten things up in the doors and look things over.
