2003 LB7 CCLB Build

Been pulling out hairs deciding between buying a 17 Duramax or keep sinking money into my 03. As you can tell from the title I chose the second option...for now. Bottom line is I don't plan on ever getting rid of the 03 at this point so might as well fix er up. I'm blessed with living in the great state of California and have a CA LB7 with an EGR. I want to go through everything fixing anything that could potentially be an issue in the future. Has over 300,000 miles and likes to spring leaks right as soon as you fix one so hopefully I can stop that. Im still not sure with what CP3, injectors or piston to go with yet so I'm open to any input there. Also contemplating pulling the batmowheel and getting a Cheetah or Stealth turbo to drop in. It is a daily driver and I'm trying to make it as reliable as I can while still having the ability to make some power.

Subscribed, looking forward to seeing the progress! Gives me inspiration to keep putting $$$ into my LB7 instead of a new truck payment!

Engine is still out with PPE, Engine parts are out getting some powder along with the frame. Just waiting for the frame to start getting it back together.

Garage
Outstanding

All I need is time and money, and a ton of extra shop space with another lift, and shelving to stow all the parts, and a tow truck, and a couple of more guys to help me, and I could do that to mine, ...

Seriously, very cool. Can't wait to see it come together.

All common things one could find in your garage I am very fortunate to have access to some extremely helpful equipment and people.
