Dang I should have checked here sooner. I just placed an order. Any chance to change it from the hp3 to the hp5?

I'm not trying to be negative or to hijack a vendors thread but since this thread started out with brighter license plate lights I have to wonder why? It seems to me that the only reason to illuminate the license plate at all it to satisfy legal requirements. Not that I do a lot of running from the police but should it ever happen the last thing I would want is better illumination of my license plate.

I like bright lights and I like them to be white, generally, not orange. But license plate bulbs, I just don't know.

Having more illumination on your license plate gives law enforcement one less excuse to pull you over. If your plate is dimly lit, they can pull you over for not having your plate adequately visible.

We have a variety of bulb model options, each with different amounts of lumen output (some lower than OEM) for those who just want the modern color upgrade.

Glad to hear you aren't running from the police! lol
