Differential fluid change/out. Question!

I ordered my amsoil fluids/pump from Willie. Thanks Willie! Changed out the front and rear differentials thanks to the write up DIY on diesel place very helpful. Very easy to do! My first drive after the oil change I put the truck in reverse and the rear end made a very weird noise. Put the truck in park then back in reverse and noise was gone and truck drove normal. Any thoughts? I have no clue why it did this.

The fluid might of ran out of all the bearings and it was in a dry spot. If it quits I wouldnt worry about it

What do you need to know? Fluid type? Amount? How to?

Fluid changes are easy if you change to a cover with a drain plug.
