I have found that people that have served in the military have a better appreciation of life that those that haven't. They also have more respect for their fellow Americans than those that haven't served.

U.S. Army
Corporeal (E-4)
Ammunition Specialist 55B / 89B (they changed the identifier while I was in AIT)

Ft. Sill, OK 2005 (Basic)
Redstone Arsenal, AL 2005 (AIT)
St. Joseph, MO 2006 (only for 4 months, was reserves, and quickly decided to go active)
Ft. Hood, TX 2006-2009
COB Adder / Tallil AFB Iraq 2007-2008 (then back to Hood).

Also spent ~40 days at NTC / Ft Irwin, CA in 2008. My unit was assisting a Battalion from 1st Cav with their ammunition operations.

And quite a few other places on TDY. Too many to list, haha.

Was medically discharged in the summer of 2009 for a list of injuries. Most of them incurred while in Iraq, a couple of them being from pre-deployment training, and being aggravated during the deployment.

Great to see so many service members / Veterans here. Feels like good company
