LMM Delete Tuning Quesiton

I have the delete tunes for my EGR and DPF, but did not plan on actually taking those parts off for a little while until I can do it properly. Would it hurt anything to tune the truck with the deletes and leave the parts on, or should I wait until I take the DPF and EGR off before I tune. Thanks for the help guys!!

If you do tune the DPF would need to be removed right away. the EGR is OK to leave it will not do any damage. But the DPF will end up plugging up from not being cleaned.

DPF has to go of you will plug i with soot, since it cant regen. the rest can stay, but is iffy from a reliability stand point. One thing i will say though is when i was shopping for delete parts for my LML, the list of places willing to sell them was short, and literally got shorter by the day as several of them were pulled from the online stores a few days after i found them. Might be better to just bite the bullet and do it while the parts are still available.

You can do tunes on an LMM and leave the emissions turned on, I had ATI Idaho Robs tunes for six months before I deleted.

The ATI EFI live came with tunes for stock emissions and deleted, after I installed my new exhaust I uploaded the deleted tunes. Worked great.

I’m kinda stuck also, the dealer couldn’t do a forced regen, so I want a straight pipe and a delete. I own HP Tuners Pro, but won’t let me turn off DPF. Should I bite the bullet, and purchase ATI EFI Live? Already did the EGR delete, no problem there.
