First you need to give out a little more info on what/who is same day tuning me personally Ive never heard of them.

Thanks I guess the price was to good to be true who do you recommend I had motor ops on my old Cummins and still have the autocal but it’s looking like I’d be in it for what a whole autocal with tune already loaded in would cost

If you already have a MotorOps AutoCal just use it.
The AutoCal will hold up to 8 different vins, which you can use it separately on 8 different vehicles.

If your tuning different vehicles, you’ll have to load the tunes you want and save what was in the AC.

This is where EFILive scan & tune and EFILive explorer comes in handy on your PC saved in your desktop the easiest place to remember IMO.

Then all you’d have to do is pay for a vin license and tuning for your Dmax.
MotorOps should be able to show you how to add another vin in your AC.
I’ve done this a couple of times, but with the help of the EFI tuner walking me thru the process.

thats good to know, i didnt know the autocal could hold more than one, i thought that was only on the V2.

The AC will only hold 4 tunes at a time if they're in a ctz compressed file format.

This is where having all your tune info on your PC or laptop (I don't care for laptops) where you can move the tunes back and forth if your doing multiple vehicle tunes, and save them for later on.

I don't think you can remove a vin out of the AC, they are in there for life, which means you have 7 more lives/vins you can have in it..

Ive got a dealer account with them and they have great customer service. been pretty helpful with any questions I had and have a good dealer discount. Ive had no issues with a single customer and ive used their tunes on 100s of different trucks that come through the shop.
