tuning + egr delete reflash question

Just a simple question, i got my truck tuned by ppei with the dsp5 switch and such a couple months ago, and just this week i removed the egr. Will i need to reflash the tunes or should it be good to go?

If the egr was turned off in the tunes already you're good to go.

If PPEI did delete tunes for you in the first place, delete tunes usually include any emissions deleting even after the fact.
If you removed the egr this means itís unplugged which is a good thing.
One quick way to verify this is to start your engines, if you donít get a check engine light your good to go.
There might be a chance the ck engine light comes on even with the delete tunes this depends on what all took place when you deleted the egr.
If it does light up then clear it, if it comes back on again then youíll have to contact your tuner.

i’m pretty sure delete tunes are standard with their tuning anyways right? Also there was some plug removed from the egr before the truck was even tuned (i think it is the MAP sensor)
and with the y bridge i didn’t even plug it back in either, i just re bolted in the plug for where the sensor would go into the charge pipe

Not always EFI tuning companies do offer emissions tuning.
But it sounds like your all set with what you’ve done so far, providing you’ve started the engine before the EGR delete with no ck eng light.
I’m sure when you ordered tuning that you specified delete tuning.

Good luck

Idk if this has anything to do with it, but the map sensor was unplugged before tuning, and was straight piped too, not sure if those will throw a code or not tho

Unless Iím missing something here.

That plug removed from the egr is power for the egr, which IMO is a good idea unplugging the egr when disabling it.

That plug is not for the map sensor, if it was unplugged youíd get a check engine light and most likely the engine would go into limp mode.

like with what you mentioned (in the red) the MAP sensor in my case was unplugged before even tuning the truck, that green connector however was plugged in but is now unplugged, along with the plug that connected to the egr cooler

Still had 0 check engine lights

Without the map sensor functioning could very well affect drivability issues and proper fueling.
You can internet search why you donít want to unplug the MAP.
