Ive had the BDS 6.5 for a little over a year, it does ride alot better than stock. I lost the same in mpgs. Got a few back with EFI, deleting in future in order to gain a few more.
A friend of my did efi and Egr delete on his 2015 Denali with a lift and 37s and is getting 24mpgs. I have the itch but I am waiting until the truck breaks in a little bit. I still have under 2k miles.
How tall are you to the top of the shark fin? I am trying to get an idea if I can fit in my garage with a 4" lift and 33's. Also would you happen to have measurements to the bottom of your fenders? Thanks for the help.
Hey guys, just got my rig back with a BDS 4.5 install. Wanted to pass along that I am very happy with it just in case anyone is looking at a similar setup.
2015 GMC 2500HD Denali diesel. BDS 4.5 lift, fox (having to reorder front shocks so BDS front shocks for now), 2" rear block with bags, stock wheels, Nitto Terra Grappler 35x12.5x20. No trimming, no rubbing. Tires clear BDS knuckles by about 1/4" and still tuck nicely under the truck. Rides as good or better than stock.
I'll also mention that I have the same Nitto tire as a spare on a full size stock wheel and it does fit underneath. Its a tight fit, you have to work it over the rear diff before snugging it up to the frame. Tire doesn't recess all the way up into the space like the stock spare but its snug and isn't going anywhere. Tire does not rub the rear diff.

Nice truck! I have a stock '14 Denali in black and that's exactly what I want to do. I was wondering if a 35x12.50 spare would fit it the stock space. Now that I know that I'm really wanting to do mine! Will the shark fin antenna clear a 7' garage door?

Guys if yall could give measurements that would be great. Im currently running 35's on just torsion keys. The ride is rougher than stock but im just wondering how much taller yall are sitting fender wise. Im pulling a 5th wheel a lot so that's also a concern between the 4.5 and 6.5 lift for me.
This thread has totally made up my mind, this is the lift and tire size I'm going for when the time comes, each of those trucks look great! Perfect stance, wheels aren't pushed out from the fenders, and CV angles are perfect!! It may be some time before I can get mine put on but I can't see going in any other direction at this point. Thanks for sharing!!
