Trailer Hitches which is best

I own a 2012 2500HD and have just snapped the rear most mount from both side of the factory hitch along with snapping in half the reinforcement bar. Which is the better hitch to put back on the truck, the factory or I am looking at the Curt Class 4 hitch.

Your advice is most appreciated.

I put the Curt Class 4 hitch on my 2007.5. It was more work to take the factory hitch off, than what it was to put on the Curt on. It’s been on my truck for at least ten years. I may pull it off one of these days and get it powder coated. The Midwest salt hasn’t been too good for it like most things. It’s a good quality hitch, especially for the price.
