In college we built Formula SAE cars with 450cc Yamaha engines. Even with the required 20mm restrictor, would beat good drivers in 400+ hp Factory Five Cobras at autocrosses (and all other cars). Of course those cars weighed less than 350 lbs (all carbon fiber), but this cart is going to be scary, in a good way.
