2002 SpecD Tow Mirrors on 2004

I bought a set of mirrors from a diesel shop months ago. They are made by SpecD, they have the Amber new style light on the front and the reverse lights on the sides. It turned out they are for a 2002. I have a 2004.5 LLY. I cut my original mirror connector and was going to solder it onto the new mirror. I have checked diagrams etc and done a bunch of searching but so far nothing has worked. One question I wanted to know for sure was if the passenger side had to be hooked up for the drivers side to work? I also assume one of these wires has to be used for power. The new mirrors have a yellow, green and red wire on the mirror movement motor, a blue/white and white for the Amber lights and then two blacks for the mirror defrost. Doesn’t seem to matter which wires I try I can’t seem to get anything to happen with these mirrors.
