Question 09 Leftover LMM Trucks?

I visited several dearlerships this summer and found that they had lots FULL of LMM Silverados. Trucks lined up as far as the eye could see. There were even some 08 leftovers to be had! I return now and find that a bunch of these dealerships are GONE. Closed down. Out of business!

Now I know with this crappy economy, everyone didn't suddenly run out and drop 50 grand on a new LMM. So my question is: Where are all the 09 LMM trucks? I've heard GM is hoarding them. WTF? I want to give them my money, right now! Where did the lots full of trucks I saw a few months ago dissapear to?

I want an LMM extended cab. An 09 2500 HD EC in Blue Granite Metalic with cloth bucket seats to be exact.

I've tried the "locate this vehicle" feature on GM's website and come up with ZERO. Even though I've personally found two of these trucks on the lot at two dealers in town. So that online feature is obviously worthless!

Does anyone know where I can find an 09 LMM extended cab???

I love how they have all these deals on remaing 09's but there isn't a single '09 in my area!!! I just hope that since the government owns Chevy, that they don't do stupid shit like mentioned above. I will tell you this much, if i was gonna buy a 2010 Chevy 3/4 ton truck, it would be a 6.0L cuz the new diesel get about the same mileage.

Rockertype,

A lot of them in the Atlanta area went to used car dealerships like CarMax. There were a huge selection of 08-09 2500 and 3500, all trim levels, diesel or gas with like 3 miles on them (just enough miles to drive them from the dealer to CarMax). I've tried doing a search on them and someone got them, while the gettin' was good.

Check out CarMax - Browse used cars and new cars online, there may be some left over in your area, but I doubt it.

There are very few here in Michigan. I've seen more 2010's than 09's. Found one that suited me yesterday. I've come across a few EC's but none in your color. Good Luck

Got the truck below MSRP minus a 4,000 rebate and 3,000 in GM Card topped off earnings. Still a large bottom line but I'm sure an 2010 would be quite a bit more so I'm pleased.
