Club for all the 1 ton long beds that dont need training wheels. If you have one post it up, the old 3500 SRW club seems dead, the OP isnt on the boards anymore.
Hi SRW 3500 dudes. Can I pop in here and ask what sort of ride difference is there between 2500 and 3500, both unloaded? I hear its all about an extra leaf or two, but maybe it doesn't squeeze on it without a load.
Comparing stock for stock unloaded, the 3500 def rides rougher than a 2500. I recently swapped shocks on mine, and went to a taller tire (same size rim, more sidewall) and it def rides smoother than it did, prolly closer to 2500 ride quality... Throw some weight in it and its a Cadillac!
My buddies 2500 rides like a caddy compared to my 3500. We both have new(er) bilstein 5100s, Load (E) tires, but I'm on 35/12.5/18 mud terrains, He's on stock 16s with an A/T that might be a little bigger than stock.
Need some help from the 3500 peeps. Anyone running 285/65/18's on stock wheels? I'm looking at replacing the 20" Denali wheels with 18' Denali wheels. I think the TPMS and lug nuts will swap over? Truck (see sig.) is stock with the bars cranked 3 full turns. I want to keep my mud flaps. Any input is appreciated. PM me. Thanks.
32.5" tire, should fit, 3 turns on the torsion keys doesnt mean a lot. How much higher is the front end than stock? If you are leveled, you should clear the tire, might need to slightly trim the fender liners. Nice thing about those rims is they arent crazy offset which helps... TPMS will work, they just need to be re-programmed to the truck. Any tire shop can do that for you.

Retired my OEM hazed, spider cracked headlights.
Not as nice as the newer model truck headlights, but they was cheaper than doing a trade-in for a new truck and having to deal with all of the deletes all over again.:thumb
I have the 68stg2r, stock sticks and stock cp3. Want to go to a modded Danville Performance lbz cp3, cp3k, or a sportsman/s&s pump. Probably a set of 40 or 60s and whatever mark recommends for the stg2r
Thanks for the compliment and getting the pic to show up! I really like the trailer so far. Pulls great. It's a 22GN with mega ramps. Got a great deal on it from a guy near the factory.
Thanks Roberto....Actually I kinda like the black letters... I did post a pic I posted a pic of a big fan. 😜 Honestly though since I do have have the 3500 leafs am I not essentially a 1ton.? I was always under the impression that that is the only diff between the two. Is there anything else different?
I agree, just giving you a hard time. Only diffence is the leafs and what you pay the for tags.
Fleabay has black emblems and I was thinking of picking a set up.
