Club for all the 1 ton long beds that dont need training wheels. If you have one post it up, the old 3500 SRW club seems dead, the OP isnt on the boards anymore.
Yes, rear has a 2" block. Plus the drive is sloped, with the truck pointing down hill. Overall the rear is 1" to 1.5" higher than the front. I set the front with level angles and cognito arms with ball joints on top. That way it did not max out the CVs and eliminated the cv binding I was having prior.
I was surprised how much traction bars reduced the wheel hop. Also added sulastic shackles, fox shocks and removed 5lbs of rust off the frame and under body.
I also have the Cognito UCA's, Pitman & idler arm support, Rancho HD steering stabilizer, on the rear Sulastic rubber shackles which did the trick for a much better ride, no more Bobble Head action in the cab when empty.
Firestone bags on the rear to level it out when I'm hooked up to my 5er, Bilsteins 5100's on all 4 corners.
I haven't found the need for traction bars yet, but it's something interesting for me to look into.
It's like never ending spending $$$ on mods for these trucks, most of the $$$ I've spent on mod ideas that I've done, I got from diesel forums.
Def looks good. Im running the Cognito 4-6" up front, set at 4" and nothing in the rear, truck is completely level right now... Debating putting on a 1-1.5" block on the back and going up like a 1/2" in the front...
305/65r18 would be my vote. Love the look of 20's, but I like sidewall for a softer ride. And a 33.5" tire will work better with stock gearing than hopping up to a 35".
I guess I’m the only one posting here!!! This is my new 2022 truck!!
