Made an appointment for the first oil change and address the recalls. I asked about turning off the seatbelt chimes and was told that they would try, but they haven't been very successful with it? WTF, it's a dealership. :confused

Follow the wires coming out of the seat belt latch and unplug the clip between the seat and console. Super easy and quick. First thing I did to my truck. No light and no chime.

Well the drop shackle life has been fun....I'm preparing to lift the truck.

Got my Cognito pitman & idler brace kit in today. Didn't have time to install it and I saw that some 2011+ trucks have a rubber bushing on the center link. Unless I'm completely missing something it looks like I don't have that?

Also still deciding on the lift size. I'm getting a pretty good deal on the RCX lift so I'm set on that. I know some people hate on RCX but their stuff has come a long way from where it used to be. But... I am debating between the 5" or the 7.5". I've heard some say that they are nearly the same lift and both can be adjusted from 5-7.5" but I'm not sure how true that is. I picked up a set of 35x12.5R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers that are going to be mounted on my 20x9.5 -6mm wheels for now but I'll probably do a 20x12 wheel down the road. The kit says that the 5" isn't even recommended with a 35" tire but I never listen to the recommended tire sizes. They are always way off. I just don't want the 5" to be too small and rub like crazy and I don't want the 7.5" to be too tall and look goofy without 37s. I've had a DD with 37s and it was fun but I don't feel like going through all that again. I'm sticking to 35s on this truck. I've seen some people fit 35s and 12 wide wheels and say they don't rub and I've heard people who get a 7"+ kit get 35s and say they rub. So that's my dilemma...

Mock up pic around 5" of lift.

@LML6600DMAX. Thanks, I'll try that. The chime is a pita while maneuvering in the campground. I usually take the seatbelt off when backing into a site and I'm jumping in/out of the truck. My g/f doesn't understand the concept, but that's another chapter. Lol.

I had to unplug mine...my dad doesnt believe in seatbelts so I just unplugged them so I don't have to hear the chime when he's riding with me lol
If you do a search on here there's probably a better explanation as well.

My trans builder just added on to his shop and I tiled 400 sq ft of office space on one end. He had a few s480s and a 488 laying around that would have been perfect over my valley charger. I could have even been paid with a s480 but decided the wife would probably not like that lol.
