What was wrong with the 6.2 Josh. The way the lmm kept gelling on you, I figured you'd stay half ton/HD gasser

Just never fell in love with the truck. Small truck, gasser wasnít my style. Something about driving a tuned and deleted dmax is so fun. Canít beat the sound. Love the bigger 3/4 ton trucks. Hated the small 5í8Ē box. Was constantly looking at diesels driving around. The 6.2 was fast and got really dam good mileage. Would get 20-24 on interstate and better than my duramax around town. Only thing I did to that truck the 8 months I had it was a intake and catch can. Thatís definitely not my style lol

Pulled my rear door lock actuator, opened it up ,then plunged it in.It didnít lock at first but then did.
Found it just doesnít have enough power to lock it with the spring loaded lock stem/rod attached with spring.Spring gives resistance push/pulling lock stem.
Weird it has 2 motors? Only 1 moves lock with fob.The smaller motor didnít do anything.
Maybe the truck has passenger eject mode.lol

Just because I know how some cops can be I would take a dremel or exacto knife and cut it down where you can see them. Complete with a taper around the z71 to match the bolt holes.

Most LEOs now have on board plate ID access.....reveals everything on-the-fly as far as compliance goes, including insurance.

Waste of money now, the LEDG makin' the rules haven't caught up with current tech in use out on the road.

I had a plate that was obscured by the aftermarket bumper on my truck. I never noticed or cared until one day I had a meet and greet with a local deputy at the side of the road. He had a really good look at the bumper to see if I had intentionally obstructed the plate. It had been that way since I bought it. The sticker was up to date and all, he just didn't have anything better to do that day. He looked in his mirror as he passed, didn't see the sticker and thought he might have a major crime on his hands.

I never did anything about the sticker but you just never know when someone is going to take an interest. Lots of plate frames obscure the sticker so you are not alone. It would likely never be a problem. Then again...........

It's when they cover up the State that's usually a problem.

I know a girl that lost her plate.Made her own out of cardboard and black marker.Drove it a year like that! Till a cop asked her in a parking lot what it was that heíd been seeing.Said he asked his Sargent if there was any new plates like that after googling it many times.hahaha
Cop told her she needed to conform, rolling his eyes shaking head.lol
