2008 Silverado Gray Gasser:
Installed a new crankshaft position sensor ($40 lifetime warranty). It took longer to ramp the truck than it did to drop the starter and swap it out. Back to zero codes..

Theyíre 36Ē fenders so Iíll have to measure the current height of the fenders on the trailer now to where the brackets hit and then tack these two together with a rod or two and mock them up. After that itís just cutting flat plate out to bolt to the trailer and be welded to the fender (14 gauge). Since theyíre Jeep fenders id like to incorporate a mount that bolts to the channel between the fenders, and the fenders can bolt too, and then add a step to that same mount.

Something like that, itís all in my head

Iíve been rocking one of those cheap Hobart ones for all of these years, I really think having something with variable shade could help me with learning to tig better.

Plus that old one crapped out and the whole headband setup broke so it was time!
Do they do replacement lenses etc for the Hobart ones Jeff?

The last couple of times I've had to buy a whole new helmet because they won't sell replacement lenses

Finally got a chance to install my RedHead!

Way easier then I made myself believe it was going to be.

Steering is 100 times better, now just need to get it aligned now that everything’s tight up front for once.

Finally my package arrived one day late. I was kinda unsure if it would fit because of the website stated it would t fit the 19 L5P. I was like, you canít BS me like that because 17-19 are the same. So I went ahead and slide the tip into the pipe and I gotta say this looks much better than the factory look. Iím happy with it so far.

I would love to install one. Mine has 195,000 on it and it causes the steering to wander.

I didn't do anything TO the truck this week but the Titan 52 gallon tank arrived and I picked up a flawless set of H2 chrome 17" wheels FOR the truck. Install them prolly before New Years.
