Not a lick. I’m ok when it comes to wires and such but soldering has not been so kind. Don’t really play with it enough. But have one coming so by end of the week I should be back rolling

Just a bit of food for thought, I ran out of 2 stroke a month back and have been running the truck straight diesel.
I've noticed the injector noise that people speak of in that time, put 2 stroke back in last tank and it's gone.

2012 Silverado Duramax:
Filled the truck up
Added OptiLube summer blend
Hauled some free steel home from work

I tell you, best part of working for a somewhat large company is the waste they have....which can be pretty good stuff! Welder man is always trashing good flat bar or tubing!

Id like to have the $$$ Ive seen wasted by gas/oil companies. We tore down an old compressor station this summer and in one of the outbuildings there was 19 sticks of 2x2x1/4 square tube, 8 long, been laying there gathering dust for years but it looked brand new. I called the gas company man and asked what he wanted to do with it.....scrap it, take it home, just get rid of it. 10000000-4

No joke wow!

I’m always going through dumpsters at work, you really know what you can find. Even my PCV catch can on the Cummins was an old metal sprayer for the trash bin

Once or twice a week I walk into the maintenance shop and start fishing to see what they’re going to let go of that day. The welder has so much steel racked up so he has zero concern scrapping scrap pieces that would still be good for someone like me for brackets and stuff. Do I have a use for all this square tubing?... maybe not but I couldn’t let it just go in the dumpster!

These maintenance guys take care of other districts as well so they have all sorts of cool mechanical stuff from all over.
