Oh I raid the scrap pile at work all the time, but I was actually going to haul this square tube to the gas company’s yard because it was too good for the scrap trailer. Gas company just wanted the station gone and a bare dirt lot when we were done and didn’t care what happened to any of it so.....Jeep bumpers and rock sliders and tire carriers Oh My

Decided to replace the fuel supply and return hoses at the fuel filter housing before I put a new filter in. Ever since I got the FASS, I had the stock filter bypassed but after more research and some funny injector knock noises the past few days, I decided to put it back on. Plus the factory hoses were getting pretty worn. So now I'm running Fleetguard filters at the FASS and the Cat 1R0750 at the stock location. Took about an hour and that included running to the parts store for hose clamps.

Decided to swap out tires and wheels again. Took off the OEM Denali wheels and Toyo MTs and put the forces and street meats back on.

Installed two new AcDelco batteries on the 06' 3500 dually, last time I replaced was Oct. 2013, not too bad. Six years and two months.

Installed Bilstein 4600's all the way around and a Hellwig Bigwig rear stabilizer bar this week, before the summer truck camper season rolls in. I should have replaced the shocks years ago, what a difference in ride!

What hoses did you get for the stock filter housing and did it clear up your knock?

I got 1/2" Gates brand hose from Napa Auto. 3 ft of it and have some leftover. I looked it up on Gates website and it says it's diesel fuel rated. I wasn't gonna pay the $199 that companies or the dealer want for the fuel hose that have the factory "bends" in them. Ridiculous. $10 worth of hose and a few hose clamps and I was good to go.
