Weird humming noise in my lbZ

I have a humming noise coming from my front driver side wheel area when driving . It seems to be louder in turns . I thought it was a wheel bearing and took it to a mechanic to verify . They lifted it up in the air and spun my wheel and said they could hear it as well. They said there is no play in it , but it’s going bad . I replaced it with a moog hub assembly and bearing . The noise is still here . Can this be the cv joint ? I would think if it was I would here more of a clicking than humming . Also , my brand new gearbox is too tight and has play in it . Could this be the cause? Truck has brand new tie rods in it

Flip it in and out of 4 high and see what you get. Could be the front differential.

What speed are you driving when you notice the noise? All the time or just at xx speed, etc.

Well, Iíll preface all of my comments with ďIím not a mechanic and other here have tons of experienceĒ, but Iíve had truck and jeeps and 4x4ís all my life so...

Looking at the simplest things first.

Tire. Donít know what the hum sounds like but since it goes away after 40 or so check your tires and suspension. After that it might be a joints or transaxle or diff.

The reason I say tire is that lasts year, riding with my sister in her 4x4 she had a weird hum from the back right. Turns out it was a bad tire as the result of a bad shock. It would go away at highter speeds. Very noticeable at around 30mph.

Just my 2 pennies.
