Drivers side window not closing

My 2017 has learned a new trick. When I press the auto up, the window goes all the way up and then reverses and stops after going down about an inch.

Then, in order to close the window I have to press and hold the up button for several seconds.

Not the end of the world but certainly a pain.

A Google search lead me to believe that it's got something to do with the anti-pinch programming which is supposed to be resettable by running the window all the way up by holding the button and continuing to hold it after its up for several seconds but that didn't fix it.

I've got an appointment with the dealer but am hoping that someone here knows a quicker fix.

If you have window deflectors on top that's the reason, mine did that for a while, window hits it thinking its a finger or something like a garage door

No, stock windows.

Dealer had to reset the calibration in the bcm. Mechanic had no idea why it happened.

But for anyone that does add in the track rain guards and has this problem, it's good to know that it can be fixed.
