I have a 2001 Chevy Express 3500LS with the 6.5 and 174K miles. I have a heck of a time starting this beastie when it is below 30F. Sometimes it will fire on the 3rd or 4th time but mostly I give up till the outside temp comes up then it is peachy first try. Summer usage here in Michigan has been no problem. I just replaced both batteries because of an age issue but it is still a PITA on a cold morning.
Any insights here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
