Water Pump Leak.

I just finished installing a new lower rad hose on my 06 van. I noticed coolant leaking from the weep hole under the water pump.
I read, and seen a few youtube vids on replacing these on pick-ups, but nothing on the vans. My question is, Has anyone done this without going mentally insane?
I can't seem to find an inspection cover on the bell housing like on the Allison transmissions to lock the flywheel so I don't have to remove the starter. Any help is appreciated. I have two quotes of over $1500 bucks for this job.

I found a shop to install a new water pump with the housing, a new upper rad hose and a new serpentine belt. He used all gates parts.
Total amount was $475.00 cash, Parts and labor. He had it back to me in one day. I guess they must be easier on the van.

They are not easier on the van and that is to cheap for everything. Book pays like 8 hours and you have about $150 in parts. If it was mine I would be very concerned about what all was done and the quality of work for that cheap of a price.

2006 Express 3500 Ext. 4" Turbo Back Exhaust, bye bye kitty and ruffler. EFI Live. Custom made air intake with dry Aem filter. TDK bumper.
