New to the forum

I made this account in 2014, but didn't own a dmax until 3 years ago. LLY 330k miles for $3500! Fixed it and cleaned it up, now it has head studs, HTT tow max turbo, efi live and other things here and there. I needed a tow truck for my Cummins race truck, its been great. Some weird electrical problems but it's been a solid truck! Just did a blocker plate, night and day difference. I think the egr was having issues staying open. When it was apart for the head gasket job everything was coated in sludge, so gross. Going to add water methanol soon. Anyway I thought I'd make an introduction post, thanks!

Lly got sold back to dealer, looking for another lb7 now.
11.2 on 35s and a 4in lift hopping, spinning, and fuel surging. Lowered down now and on 420s. Got some cheaters, smaller wheels, and shooting for low 6s this year. Going to run the 8th to take some stress off the engine and transmission. Might try to hit some odss races this year in 6.70. Still takes people to gapplebees on the street, grocery shopping, and preschool pick ups occasionally haha. Going to turn it up this summer with more air too.

Wow that's a nice setup, how do you like the MVB and cheater slicks? I've wanted to change over but the auto is really consistent so I never bothered. I'm still running the VP on mine. Last time out it had a little more weight and a different turbo, it did a 6.9 in the 8th. Now it has a built holset and hood stack. Haven't made a clean pass recently though, maybe this season.

Have you thought of lowering yours more? I think mines about a 3" drop... Could be wrong though, been a while.

I honestly hate the ratchet shifter. Its a pain in the ass and im constantly messing with it. Going to switch to a muldoons soon and see if i like it better. Currently a b&m. The mvb i like and if its not street driven much especially in traffic id reccomend it. We live in the mountains so no traffic really. My overdrive and lock up are on switches on the side. Also dont like where they are mounted on the b&m vs muldoons
