Whatís up fellas

Been in the Chevy family since I started driving. Iv had quite a few 1500s but wanting to step into the diesel world. About to sell my 2011 1500 and get back into a nbs. Iv been on gm full-size for years but Figured Iíd join this forum to do some research on some lb7 since lbz are just way to high for my price range on a older truck. Currently looking at a few 03s with 200-265k. I know thatís a lot of mileage for any truck but people like to say ďitís a diesel itís just getting broke InĒ lol...I did have a few 5.3s that were over 200k and the only major thing I had to get was the trans rebuilt but that was about it. Iím in the Houston area if anyone knows of any for sale. Thanks guys

For sure. Trust me I have witness many buddies loose a trans over putting to much power on it. Iím not the type of person to drive around daily with a tune set on kill.

Well the truck Iím buying should be in my driveway right now but I gotta wait another weekend due to my banks whole entire system going down and I couldnít get in touch with my loan officer for days. Guess it wouldnít matter anyway since the truck is in a shop getting a power steering leak fixed. Iím getting impatient to finally get into the diesel game lol anyways hereís a picture of the truck trying to get a video since Iím pretty much buying this truck blind being 4 hours away so hopefully my first diesel will be a good experience.

Ask the owner who the tuner is who wrote the tunes for the vehicle. If they dont' know, be prepared to get new tunes from a reputable tuner. Poor tuning can seriously hurt your engine and/or transmission.
