On the fence

Thanks for letting me join. I have owned Cummins then swapped to a 15 Powerstroke...I am not really impressed with it so I have been looking at a 2012 Chevy 3500 with 130k miles...it is really nice but know I like to research and listen to what others say. I am also looking at a 2010 2500 duramax. I love diesel engines.

2010. No DEF. Just my preference though. I dont want to deal with DEF and ive read enough about the cp4.2 in the 2011+ that i dont want the worry. Hence why i would choose the 2010.

Welcome aboard. I have always gone by the theory buy the newest/most truck you can afford. DaJokr is right on with the CP4 issues and emissions stuff but depending on what you plan to do, all that can be fixed or upgraded.

If I can ever be of assistance, don't hesitate to ask.
