    Hello UT man:
Will you please move my yesterday's post (limp) from the 911 forum to the correct 4.5 - 5.0. Lly duramax one? I hope you will also accept my sincerest apologies for not reading and following the forum' rules in the first place. I know the aggravation of trying to keep a site organized and uncluttered; just as answering the same questions is an utter waste of time. I promise to do moe' better next time. I finally snapped and changed from mobile to full version.

Anyway, thank you for your help -- and try to stay cool and out of that awful traffic. Go Ducks!

Hi, you may remember I hauled my RV camper down to port connor and had problems going into limp mode in Gonzalez. Hoping it won't happen again after replacing fuel filter and adding lift pump but it might. My plan is to drag it home to Georgetown on Sept 27. In case it happens again I may need help to get it home. Would you or someone you recommend be willing, for money of course. Chances are I'd be stranded like in Cuero or Gonzalez as the hills start showing up. It probably won't happen but who knows it may have been nothing to do with the pump pressure just problem under load. My cell is 512-515-3597. I've been living around Austin since '73 and this place since '85 so I'd hope you could trust me.

fyi, I did get the kennedy pump. Looks nice, I just have to decide if I want to get that hose off the tank or take it to someone to do it for me. I was thinking I ought to do an EGR block and replace those bad glow plugs too.

based on what you posted I decided the Kennedy single pump version was good for me so its on order. Question I have now is just how difficult is it to get that hose off the tank? From your comments it must be a bit of a pain. Do you remember the siize of the removing tool? MY LBZ is a long bed with factory 2" lift. If it turns into a big ordeal to get at it I'll take it to some mechanic. Since its flow thru they could just do the plumbing and then I could do the rest. If you have any mechanic suggestions in Austin area let me know. I found a guy outside leander. He wanted to install the FASS thing but I just don't need that much capacity that it provides not to mention the foaming problem. I need to check that hose closer to the engine, I got some good feedback on looking at it. I couldn't see anything unuusal looking from the top near the firewall.

    Dear Manager,
(If you are not the person who is in charge of this, please forward this to your CEO,Thanks)
This email is from China Internet Service Provider, which mainly deal with the domain name registration in China. We received an application from Marsun Co Ltd on October 15th, 2018. They want to register "duramaxforum" as their keyword and China/Asia (CN/ASIA) domain names. But after checking it, we find this name conflicts with your company. In order to deal with this matter better, so we send you email and confirm whether this company is your distributor or business partner in China or not?.

    Best Regards,

Regarding my response to your comment about Rotella T6...it is far from scientific. I just noticed at 50% oil life when I was draining it that it appeared to be very thin, watery. My LML engine was noisey, more so than before. I did get excellent fuel mileage on a trip to Florida and was quite happy about that. I also used a quart of "Best Line" diesel oil additive which could have thinned the oil, too. Again, my conclusion is not scientific as I didn't have the oil tested for lubricity. Your results could be entirely different. Good trucking to you.
