Welcome To The DF...

The Staff and I would like to Welcome you to the DF. Here you will find some info that will help you in finding your way around the forum and also help us in helping you.

Before you get started, please take a moment and read our forum rules. DF RULES. Then when you are ready, please introduce yourself to us in the Introduction Forum.

Before you start posting we ask that you also take the time to fill out your sig. What Is a Sig you may ask? Your sig (signature) shows under your post and is a place for you to post the info about your truck. Your sig should have the year, make, model, and any mods you have listed. This helps us in helping you by giving us that info so that we know what we are working with. It also gives you a place to brag about what you have worked for and spent your hard earned cash on. If you need help in filling out your sig you can see the 'Sig How To' here: LINK.

Before you start posting questions you may have about your truck, please take the time to use the Search button. The search button can be your best friend because 99% of the time the question you have has already been asked and answered. Cannot find the SEARCH Button? This will help you. SEARCH BUTTON

There are two ways of posting. One is by replying to a post by using the Reply box at the bottom of a page. The other is by starting a New Thread. To start a New Thread you first find the proper forum for your thread by clicking the Forums button at the top of the page. Once you have found the proper forum for your post, then click into that forum. You will find at the upper left of the page, above all the threads listed, an icon that says NEW THREAD. Click this icon and you are on your way. If you need more help with posting you will find it here: LINK. When posting please remember that you share this forum with 20 thousand + members. You will see in a short time that the diesel community is more like a big family that likes to get together, talk shop, tell jokes, and have fun. However, at some point and time, You will disagree with what someone has to say. What we ask is that you please keep any of your disagreements civil.

Posting in the For Sale Forum.
You must have 25 posts before you can post in the FS forum. This is to give the members a chance to get to know you and stops people from joining the forum just to push stuff in the FS forum. Posts in the off topic forums do not count toward your post count. Please don’t post unwanted or unnecessary gibberish to up your count so that you can post in the FS forum.

Posting Pics.
The Best way to post your pics on the forum is by using an image hosting site. We find that Photobucket works very well. You post your pics by uploading them at photobucket and simply copying the IMG code listed under your pic (at photobucket), then pasting the IMG code here in your post. If you need more help with posting your pics you can see the How To here: LINK.

Spam/Unwanted content.
This is your forum and The Staff and I do our best to help keep it clean. But due to all the new postings and threads that we receive everyday, we cannot and do not have the time to read over every single one made. This is where you can help us. In every post under everyone's user name and info you will find a Report a post icon Name: report.gif
Views: 521
Size: 1,014 Bytes By clicking on this icon it will give you a place to report the problem. It also notifies all the Staff of a problem so that we can take care of it.

The Staff . If you have any questions or need help with the forum please feel free to contact any of us and we will help you. DF Staff

Most asked questions.
We ask that you please take a moment to read this, as the answer to your question might be here: LINK.

More Smoke Question.
This is a question asked all the time. You will find that most of the Diesel Community is against making "MORE SMOKE". This is due to the black eye that people driving around "Blowing Smoke" on others has given us. This is what is causing the Gov. to start putting restrictions on your trucks in the way of "Smog Control". Smoke also does not equate Power. Many are building BIG POWER with little to no smoke. Don’t get us wrong it can be fun to roll coal, but to drive around doing this everywhere you go is only making the rest of us look bad. So let me be the first to warn you. You can ask the More Smoke question but the Staff will not be responsible for any harassment that you may receive for it. If you want more info on the Smoke question and its responses, please read this: https://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/ge...300-smoke.html
