Ghill96 I'm talking about the stock two peice y bridge and using the aftermarket cold side boost pipe. I've heard that it is common that not all the mounting on the after market pipe lines up in the correct location on the motor making it so that the boost pipe has a little movement. It is flanged and bolts directly to the y bridge. Where as the Kits from like hsp isnt bolted directly together and has a silicone boot between the two pipes. And kits from like hsp aren't a two peice like stock. I think the only thing holding the stock y bridge together are orings? Just from the research I've done.

Has any one here modded their y bridge to prevent blowing the o rings out? Very interested to hear what you have done.
Im not sure what your Y bridge looks like but if its designed even remotely like the one on my truck i think it would be very hard to blow that gasket out and i would not go out of my way to fix a problem that likely does not exist. The Y bridge i have has a machined grove in the faces where it meets the intake and the seal is held on both sides so it cant move once torqued down to the engine. If you issue is with the oring staying in place while installing the part, i would put a couple dabs of RTV on the y bridge to retain the seals and then install it. Ill admit, i am a little confused what your asking about.
