|Ghill96||I'm talking about the stock two peice y bridge and using the aftermarket cold side boost pipe. I've heard that it is common that not all the mounting on the after market pipe lines up in the correct location on the motor making it so that the boost pipe has a little movement. It is flanged and bolts directly to the y bridge. Where as the Kits from like hsp isnt bolted directly together and has a silicone boot between the two pipes. And kits from like hsp aren't a two peice like stock. I think the only thing holding the stock y bridge together are orings? Just from the research I've done.|

Y bridge mods.
Hey guys. First time posting here. I have a off brand egr delete boost pipe I'm going to be putting in my truck and I had a question to see if anyone on here has done anything like it. Ok so with the off brands there is commonly a issue with fitment as far as the mounting holes lining up from my under standing. Has any one here modded their y bridge to prevent blowing the o rings out? I had a idea of cutting the flange off both and putting a lip of some sort on them and just running a silicone boost hose between the two to prevent any excessive forse put on the y bridge? Very interested to hear what you have done.
