mstein86 If I remember correctly I just dropped one side of the cross member a little and had enough room to wiggle things around. I did keep my Cat, got rid of the DPF, I just installed a new up pipe and exhaust. wasn't too bad of a job, did have to drill out a bolt on the exhaust flange though...

Bundy Yeah. Gotta remove it. Was still difficult to get out without cutting the pipe. Once you disconnect the flange between the cat & dpf you should be able to wiggle it out. Be careful though. When i took mine off it was under a load and it popped off. Pretty sure it nearly broke my hand.

removing the tranny crossmember

Im swapping my exhaust and dropping my crossmember. the bolts on the passenger side hit a exhaust support and one of the bolts is being difficult. does the exhaust support need to come out? Is there a better way to get the exhaust out? Thanks
