D_R_C On the mirror there is a button that turns the temp and compass on and off, it can easily get bumped turning it off.
I've accidently pushed mine shutting everything off while putting my windshield sun shade up, I thought it was broke.

Rear view mirror temp and compass inop

Whats up guys , I just wanted to let everyone know that these mirrors can be repaired I read a few posts on the interwebs and called the local speedometer repair shop and got some advice and got the confidence up enough to give it a try . I took the mirror down and carefully popped the 2 pieces that hold the glass apart and could not see the cracks in the solder that holds 3 of the resistors . I looked through a magnifying glass and sure enough they were there . I flowed some solder on those things and put it back together and hooked it all back up and low and behold it worked !!! If some of you are suffering from this issue give it a try what do you have to lose . Btw mine was in calibration mode once it put it back in the truck and I had no idea how to calibrate it then an old timer I work with told me to drive around in circles and what do you know it worked .lol.
