royg6677 I was just notified by my dealer they have the parts to do the recall also got notice from OnStar this month about the recall. I live in Pa.

Iceman17a Anybody outside of the cold weather states heard anything about when their dealer will have parts to make the repair? I was in northern New Hampshire about 2 weeks ago snowmobiling and it was -24 the morning I was supposed to leave. Even with copious amounts of fuel additive with each fill up the truck refused to start. Fortunately we were able to get it inside a building and warm it up and our departure was only delayed by half a day. Needless to say never shut it off til we got back to PA.

If new means new from a dealer rather than just new to him then if it has a cord, then it is updated.

spudbudy So after talking to my dealer today about parts ordered and then GM cancelled the order found this online. It explains what's going on.
