Edge CTS2 monitor work on 2016 LML??

Hey guys I am looking at a edge CTS2 monitor for my 2016 LML just to use for gauges to monitor. It is a Edge CTS2 84130 anybody know for sure if it will work for just gauges?

2016 Chevy 2500HD: ready lift leveling keys with 1" blocks in rear, Flo Pro 4 NM, EGR blocker plates, Autocal with Mitch Cooper tunes/trans tune, CCV delete, Edge CTS2 monitor with EGT probe, 40 RC curved light bar mod in bumper, LED 45w headlights and fog lights, white Recon LED cab lights, LED switch back side tow mirror lights, Trex grille inserts, rear husky plastic wheel well liners, custom paint match mirrors, tow hooks and bow ties, Rough Country HD2 side steps, winter tires ultra 20x9" rims with 33"Goodyear dura trac studded, summer tires Mayham Arsenal 20x9" with 35" Comforcer tires
Soon to come in spring 5RC lift!!!

Yes that should be just the monitor and no tunes, just put one on my LMM to replace my pillar gauges. What gauges are you trying to monitor? May need to buy the EAS add on for certain ones.

Ya I was going to look at getting the EGT probe but I just found a CTS 2 for a very good price so wanted to get it if it would work

Ive never had good luck with edges egt probes. Some guys have gone few years n thousands of miles but more than i know have had them fail prett6 quick. Other than that 2 cents the cts2 is a great unit.

Ok ya I am mostly just want to know for sure that the 84130 CTS2 model will work for sure on my truck thats all just worried about buying it and not working.

thats the one I have on my truck.regen is a little slow to show on the display,,timing goes -10 so I know its started but display says dpf off,then after a few miles the status changes.
other than that nice unit.
I have the egt probe but haven't installed it yet.some day

Ok awesome I seem somewhere like a while ago I read and cant remember where but that the edge CAT2 84130 didnt work on a 2016 LML. Figured I would find someone on here that has one and has used it on there 16 LML

Bought one in October for my 16 - works fine. Don't have the EGT probe though, but I do monitor EGTs post turbo.

On the Edge probe, if you can get that black plastic box in between the metal cable and black wire inside your cab, away from the hot engine compartment you wont have any issues.
Edge is in denial of this, but it works.

I had issues at first, Im on my 3rd probe its been on for over 6 years with no issues.
I installed my Edge probe in my BD manifold on the drivers side which made it easy getting inside.

I just installed an EAS probe 2 months ago, it didn't have the black box or whatever that is on the wiring, & the connector to plug in is different as well.

2015.5 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ, Z71, SRW.
