Looking for some input/advice

Aright everyone, I'm looking for some input/opinions/advice. Just bought a 1 owner 2015 2500 LML with 72k miles and it's bone stock. Has a 5" lift and 35" Toyo's. Truck looks great but I'm looking for some input on opening it up. Straight pipe, straight with muffler, recommended tuners, EGR deletes, fuel pump....the works. Looking to see what everyone is running and any issues.

First do some research on the CP4 fuel pump and failure.. You might want to start there before dumping money....

That being said.... Mt 2013 (sold) was fully deleted and Kory Willis tunes and ran like a raped ape...

Are the CP4's really that bad. Heard that if you put a good 95GPH Fass or Air Dog with it they are pretty reliable. That said my drive to work is only about 2.5 miles and it seems like when I go to start the truck to go home after short drive it is rough to start. Like starved for fuel. Only time it does it.

Yes a FASS will take the strain off the CP4, but remember if it fails.... it'll take out your entire fuel system...

take the long way home, get those fluids and engine warmed up or else they are not doing any good and you are wearing out your components a lot faster.

Aright so I'm hearing a lot of grumblings locally about discontinued tuners/straight pipes/deletes. Seems like PPEI/Kory Willis websites all drying up for these items. Anyone know or heard anything? EPA put the final squeeze on diesels.

You might consider using diesel fuel additives every tank, if your not.
Thereís several good ones available, I use Diesel Kleen its available at pretty much any parts house and Wal-mart.
Also a FASS 95 or Airdog 4G100 would be a real good idea, both good for up to 600hp, do NOT go with a larger lift pump and donít let them talk you into a larger lift pump, theyíll fib a little telling you the 95 & 100 are only good for 500hp to try to sell you the larger LP.
Possible fueling issues with the 150/165 thatíll end up costing you more money in the end.

PPEI is officially out of the "race" side of things from now on. Things are only going to get harder and harder from here. Depending on what you want to do i suggest take your action sooner than later. Just do some digging and you'll be able to find what you need. Going to be a lot less open discussions about deleting emissions and whos doing it.
