4 got to mention in my previous post that I would also have Rob delete the DPF in the EFI system that's in my trucks future.

So riddle me this batman. Are the DPF delete race pipes with bungs designed to "fool" the DMV folks? AND if you remove the stuff from inside the cat, reinstall it, install the DPF race delete pipe with bungs, hook up the wires, and get a flow through muffler but keep the stock size pipe wouldn't that be almost as good as getting a 4" or 5" system?

You could try to get creative to "fool" someone, but the answer is NO... It will not pass the visual inspection, if you experience different results then you got lucky.

Different guys have tried different things like gutting the cats, but removing the DPF will be more challenging. I haven't seen a DPF delete that resembles a DPF.

Wink

Just passed again with a hollowed out kitty too this time. Blew a 15.7 out of a possible 40. The trick is to not hammer the throttle. Slowly down and slowly up to keep the smoke down. For the governor test I have the EFI set on #1 - optimized stock. For the 3 to the floor tests I have it set on #4 -race. Hope this helps.

Garage
Going to dig up an old thread here

I have a 2014 and want to do exhaust. I will be moving from Tucson to Queen Creek/Gilbert area in a couple of weeks. What is the best exhaust system/setup to do so I can pass in Maricopa County?
