Battle Born Diesels Meet & Greet 7/17/16

Just wanted to give a bit of an introduction and let everybody know about our meet coming up. Details about the upcoming meet on 7-17-16 are at the very bottom.

My name is Matt and I'm one of the founders of the Battle Born Diesels (FKA Battle Born Coal Rollers). We have been around since 2013 and been having some awesome meets over the last few years. We took a bit of a break to do some re-branding and make some other changes and now we are back into trying to have more Meet & Greets.

We are mostly located out of Nevada, specifically Reno/Sparks/Carson area, but we have people from all over Nevada and Northern CA come to the meets. We are also hoping to have more meets both in the Elko area and try to do some Southern Nevada meets maybe next year.

Some of our meets have included the guys over at the Diesel Sellerz (now known as "The Diesel Brothers" thanks to Discovery), a car bash, camping, food trucks, a FASS giveaway thanks to Alligator Performance, donations for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, raffles, etc.

When we started, we were the Battle Born Coal Rollers and that was right before "rolling coal" blew up. We took the term "coal roller" from the old term that used to just be slang for a diesel truck. With too much political BS going on and the fact that we prefer the cleaner trucks anyway we decided to change to Battle Born Diesels and to cater more towards the mature crowd at the same time rather than the people that just bought a diesel truck to roll coal.

Our next meet is coming up next weekend. 6:00pm at Boulevard Pizza in Sparks, NV. It's our first time hosting a Sunday afternoon meet and we are giving it a shot. It's going to be more of a low key event without any raffles or giveaways but just a good time hanging out, eating pizza, and talking trucks. I've attached the flier we made for the event and I'd love to see some more Duramaxes there!
