Diesel suburban

So I’ve been looking at the diesel suburban option for about 6 months. Reading forums, looking at burbs for sale, and of course watching videos from Eric (who is 30 minutes down the road from me). I have a few questions about building it yourself.

One thing i have learned from Eric is that GM builds on the same frame across the truck/SUV line.

My question is, instead of doing an engine swap, could you not just put the body of a 2016-2018 suburban onto a 2016-2018 2500 connect the connections (Simplistic terms I know) and be ready to go vs pulling the engine ect and putting it on the 1500 frame.

IIRC, the HD frame with the Dmax differs from the 1500/tahoe/suburban frame.

Bigger brakes and beefed up axles....makes the 2500 SUBURBAN frame into the 3500 'Burb frame. While he mentions a 1500 body is the same, they're talking about the 1500 burb.

It's not the HD frame. Body mounts are different, IIRC.

While you may be able to move some body mounts, I think the main hindrance is where the frame bends/steps up in height being different, with the Burb more aft than the pickup.
