Clearing 40's

Lift ideas to clear 40's on 2010 2500HD...The truck has a 6 in lift now with 35 on it now...this may sound crazy but can i just add to this lift or take it off and start over...i do not want to body lift the truck at all...

Also would the lift off of this truck fit a 1999 1500??

Need to know what kind of lift you have now. Does it have drop knuckles? Did you have to cut the eye off of the front differential?

And I have mentioned this a few time on this forum before, don't buy a Bulletproof lift. I can't stand mine. They are cheaper for a reason. The lift was on my pickup when I bought it. If I knew anything about this lift, I would have never bought the pickup I have now.

Curious on this same ? myself, everything ive heard so far is Cognito is the way to go but im between on a few lifts, also pretty sure a 1500 wont work being the torsion drop is going to be smaller, maybe can hear something from Nor-Cal.....

Ill sell you my lift, it's a 12" rize. I'm on 40's now... Trying to sale it all. And no your lift won't fit on that 99 1500

What do you think about the Rize ? I've talked to ppl with mixed feelings on alot of different lifts, also how is the ride on the truck with that lift ??

if i was going to spend the money on a lift to clear 40's i would go solid axle and be done with all the torsion bar and front diff lowering bullshit. the weight savings alone would be worth it.

better question is why would you make your truck unusable? what good would your truck do you with 40" tires? How could that ever be a good thing to do to a nice truck?

Why would it matter what he does with his own truck? Its his truck... i use the shit out of my truck and dont have any troubles .

But anyways I like the lift, it rides great! The rear is a little rough but thats expected with leaf springs.

rize or cognito or SAS is the way to go. 10"+ and the right offset will look sick with 40s
